Presenter Name
Adeline Sheeja

Aging is a physiological degeneration resulting in decline in the function of organ system. Aging might take place due to many reasons such as genetic factors, environmental factor, unhealthy life style, the kind of food we intake, Tissue damage, decline in the cellular function which results in senescence, oxidative damage, DNA modification. There are many factors, which determine the physiological age such as proper diet, Good exercise, pleasant sleeping habits, healthy food, mental health and a well-functioning body. There are four kinds of aging biological aging, chronological aging, pathological aging and physiological aging. In this paper, we will discuss about the Physiological aging of organ and tissues of human body.

Narmada Kanagala

The achromatic number for a graph G = (V, E) is the largest integer m such that there is a partition of V into disjoint independent sets (V1,…,Vm) satisfying the condition that for each pair of distinct sets V_i,V_j,V_i∪V_j is not an independent set in G. In this paper, we present O(1) approximation algorithm to determine the achromatic number of Hexagonal networks.

Presenter Name
R. M. Umamageswari

Neutrosophic set is defined as generalization of the intuitionistic fuzzy set. Neutrosophic set is transformed as single valued neutrosophic numbers which represent the information of truth membership grade, falsity membership grade and indeterminacy membership grade. Single valued neutrosophic numbers gives additional opportunity to represent uncertainty, indefinite and unpredictable information. In this paper, generalized single valued neutrosophic triangular numbers are considered and a weighted average ranking technique is recommended to solve assignment problem.

R.RAJESH KANNAN

Self Service Technology assumes significance as people start rapidly using this all over the country. Many transactions in real time are carried out by means of several Self-service Technologies. Using Self-service technologies for the payment of Electricity Bills has become convenient, simple and easy to do even from remote places. Present day people switch over to these technologies due to many benefits being accrued to users as whole rather than normal payments by depending on others. This paper highlights three important elements or factors such as personality traits, dominating factor and consumer satisfaction which drive consumer?s technology adoption on payment of electricity bills through Self Service Technology.

The Apparel Industry in India is facing a stiff competition with the neighbouring countries like China, Bangladesh and Vietnam due to the high labour cost, low labour productivity, low machine productivity and less utilisation of resources etc. Due to the fast fashion concepts the style, fashion and demand are dynamically changing. The fast fashion and small quantity orders has led to the shorter lead-time and which in turn has led to the shorter production cycle time. The Knitwear Apparel manufacturers and exporters in Tiruppur are facing more of these issues with less profit margin. To meet out these challenges the Knitwear Apparel Manufacturers have to find an optimal sewing line balancing approach to reduce the number of workstation requirements, minimum number of operators and enhanced productivity and improved line efficiency in order to attain higher profit and to produce the orders before the scheduled shipment date. The line balancing of a sewing assembly line differs from company to company and mainly dependent on the Industrial engineer or supervisor who plans the assembly line for a particular style. There is no fixed methodology since each style of the order is unique and varying time to time. The cost per knitwear garment is also decided by some buyers based on the Standard Minute Value/Standard Allowed Minute (SMV/SAM) for that particular style. For example, if SAM value of a Polo T-Shirt is fixed as SAM value of 5 minutes by the buyer for a particular style based on his theoretical calculation and if the manufacturer achieves 6 minutes of SAM value during the real production in sewing floor he loses the competitiveness and the profitability in that order. The sewing line plan for a particular style is breakdown into various operations and the time required to complete the operations as in our case of Polo T-Shirt like cuff joining, shoulder joining, sleeve joining, placket attachment and side seam etc. The Skill Matrix of the labour plays a vital role in allocating the labour to various operations and to decide the workstations and combining the operations. These are the key factors that decides the effective utilisation of the resources like machines, time taken to complete the operation, quality, labour and machine productivity and to reduce the overall production cycle time etc. The operators have multi-skilled and their skill levels in each operation is maintained in the form of skill matrix. The skill matrix also arrived and ensured the reliability of the data by making the operators to allow few samples for the operations in that particular style and measuring the time taken to complete the operation against the allowed time to complete. Even though the Productivity and efficiency of a sewing line balancing determines the cost of production and enhancing the productivity for achieving higher profit margins, the acceptance quality level (AQL) plays a vital role in deciding the line balancing depending on the complexity of the styles. The Multi-Criteria decision making comes into play when the apparel manufacturer has to choose between various criteria of productivity, profit margin, lead time, quality, machine and labour cost etc., in order to arrive an optimal sewing line balancing. During the uncertainty of decision making among the various alternatives for producing and planning a line balancing using operator skill matrix, the hesitant soft fuzzy set based algorithm and the hesitant fuzzy set approach helps to attain optimal line balancing. In this paper we have adopted the novel approach of employing hesitant soft fuzzy set approach for finding the optimal sewing line balancing and to enhance the apparel production.

Comparative Analysis of Non Orthogonal MCM Techniques for Cognitive Networks

Ms.G.T.Bharathy

Drastic increase in the wireless communication users, lead to the requirement of information transmission with large data rate, channel capacity, QoS along with mitigated value of PAPR. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a very competent modulation technique used in 4G wireless communication applications like LTE and Wi-Fi due to its toughness to channel delays, efficient implementation and single-tap frequency domain equalization. Lesser spectral efficiency due to the presence of larger side-lobes along with the mandatory requirement of the synchronization, makes it a non contender for 5G applications. Non Orthogonal Multi Carrier Modulation (NO-MCM) schemes are largely preferred for opportunistic 5G cognitive networks and applications. This paper concentrates on the principle, analysis and comparison of the Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of Filtered OFDM (F-OFDM) with the Universal Filtered Multi Carrier (UFMC) also referred as Universal Filtered OFDM at a frequency of 15 MHz, SNR of 18dB for various modulations like QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM and 256QAM.

Recently, G.Mahadevan et.al., introduced the concept of
Corona Domination in graphs and as a motivation of this parameter
in this article, we introduce yet another new parameter called complementary corona domination number of a graph which is defined as A
dominating set S of a graph G is said to be a complementary corona
dominating set(CCD-set) if every vertex in < V ? S > is either a pendent vertex or a support vertex. The minimum cardinality of a CCD-set
is called as corona domination number and is denoted by ?CCD(G)." In
this paper we initiate a study of this parameter and find its number for
special types of graph.
